The team at IWT would love to talk to you.****About the role**As the Senior IT Lead you'll be responsible for all day to day IT operations. We have no in house development so you'll wear a lot of hats including:* Sourcing and managing external IT vendor partners* Partnering with other teams and vendors to lead issue resolution and post mortems* Planning the IT release roadmap and calendar* Managing the IT Backlog* Defining and communicating technical requirements* Validating the work of external vendors and approving delivery of code* Defining the process and policies required to manage multiple IT platforms, internal and external stakeholders, and providing outstanding delivery to a user base of over 500,000 users.In this role you'll report directly to the Director of Operations. You'll manage your own budget and your own department. If you've ever wanted a chance to make your mark and run your own show, this is a great opportunity for you. **Requirements*** 3+ years building highly dynamic and scalable web applications using PHP, WordPress and WordPress plug-ins in a fast cycle development environment.* 2+ years experience with AWS* Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL* Experience in CakePHP and Ruby on Rails* Extensive experience with integrating multiple systems (API, etc)* Hands on experience in Release Management and DevOps* Exceptional written and verbal communications* Strong architectural comprehension* Deep commitment to quality, scalable code and agile delivery* Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership* Hyper organized* Great sense of humor* Able to work remotely with your own phone, computer and high speed internet access in place.* This is a full-time, 100% remote position.
