Scalable Path is looking for an Expert Frontend Developer to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position. 

CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:The client is one of the world's largest architecture firms. You will be working on a new website that has a stunningly beautiful design and amazingly polished user experience.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:You will be building a new, exquisitely designed website with highly complex and polished frontend interactions. Designs are nearly completed and the first version of the site is scheduled to go live in May. The most important skills needed on the project currently are strong frontend skills (HTML/CSS/JS). Initially, we may elect to build the frontend without a CMS to get it launched as soon as possible, but in the future, the client will want to have full control of the content via a CMS, so if you have backend experience with Symfony 1.x (the framework of the client’s current website) and/or Laravel (the framework we will be transitioning to) that would be a bonus and increase the likelihood that the client would enlist your services for a longer period of time to implement the custom CMS.RELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:You will be working directly with the Interactive Design Lead at the client company along with a full-stack developer from Scalable Path who has worked on the project for many years. Detailed designs will be provided by the client's internal design team. There is an existing daily meeting at 9:00 am America/Los Angeles (-08:00) PST.REQUIRED SKILLS:- Excellent English communication skills- Deep experience building responsive websites- Strong JavaScript experience- Expert CSS- Experience writing semantic HTML5- Experience with transitions and animations related to mouse scrolling- GitDESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:- Experience with PHP (Laravel) strongly preferred- Experience with Symfony (version 1.x) would be nice- MySQLSTART DATE:As soon as possible.EXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION:At least 2-3 months (likely more)


The pay rate for this role is from $30 to $50 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability.
