Scalable Path is looking for a Full-Stack Symfony Developer with DevOps experience to join the team and work on a client project. This is a remote, full-time position for 1+ months.CLIENT COMPANY DESCRIPTION:The client is a blockchain-based communications startup working on revolutionizing social media platforms.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:You will be developing, testing and deploying a static marketing and registration website based on requirements and designs provided by the client. You will be responsible for the entire tech stack including setting up hosting, writing the PHP backend code (in Symfony) and writing the frontend HTML, CSS and JS. The client has a specific vision for what technologies should be used in the stack (they have chosen very modern, performant options...see required skills).RELATIONSHIPS - WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:You will be working directly with the CTO. The client is in the America/Chicago (-06:00) CST time zone.REQUIRED SKILLS:General Skills:- Strong written and Spoken English- Symfony 4.3+ or 5- JavaScript (jQuery)- Twig templating- Bootstrap 4 implementing Flexbox (client's preferred CSS framework)- SASS- GitHub with GitFlow- MySQL- Strong DevOps Skills (see below)DevOps Skills:- Docker and Webpack-Encore for deployment- AWS ECS and ECR- S3 and Cloudfront- AWS ELB/ALB- Amazon CloudWatch- Redis/Elasticache or Aurora (for the DB)- Jenkins or CircleCI- Experience with AWS EC2START DATE:As soon as possible.EXPECTED CONTRACT DURATION:1 month+ (this is flexible)

HOURLY RATE:

The pay rate for this role is from $30 - $45 USD per hour, depending on experience and capability.

NOTES:Although the client prefers someone who can work full-time, they are also open to candidates with part-time availability.
